Pleased to Meet You..

My oldest son is going to be 9 in two days. When did that happen??
Last week, we met one of our neighbors while we were outside in the yard. We were just chatting about the housing market, and how we really lucked out selling and buying and all that. Well, wouldn't you know, my oldest, almost 9 year old, decides to chime in on the conversation with "Yea, remember that huge fight you guys had about moving?" awkward silence "What?? It woke me up in the middle of the night!!" More awkward silence.. "Come on, remember, when Dad was saying it was too expensive??"
Yes, I remember it, and now, thank you, so will our neighbor..forever remember this awkward moment of meeting us for the first time.
